Why did you choose Baptist?
I chose Baptist because of the variety of learning experiences offered by the program. I have the opportunity to interact with patients in both the outpatient and inpatient settings, work closely with providers to make clinical decisions, and be part of a health system that puts patient care first.

What's your favorite thing about Memphis?
Pretty much what everyone else says, the food.

Personal interests outside of the residency program
I try to stay active by playing golf and running at the different parks in Memphis. I also like to spend time with friends and watching Ole Miss sports.

Where did you grow up?
Longview, WA

Why did you choose Baptist?
I was drawn to this residency program because it offers experiences in many different pharmacy settings. When I came for my interview I felt very welcomed by everyone and could tell that the current residents at the time really enjoyed what they did.

What's your favorite thing about Memphis?
The culture in general has been really cool to experience here in Memphis, since I grew up on the West Coast. It is very different but I love how friendly everyone is and the food is amazing!

Personal interests outside of the residency program
Cooking, running or working out, drinking coffee, playing board games, watching sports (especially football), binge-watching Netflix, and exploring new cities.
